Danyal graduated in 2024 with a BFA in creative direction, during which he developed his creative vision.
Now working as an independent photographer/visual artist his work concerns everyday stories from untold perspectives. Often looking back at his own experiences and exploring the so-called ‘cultural limbo’ he grew up in.
In 2024 Danyal founded Honari alongside co-founder and collaborator Omid Jahankhani. Honari is a bridge between multiple artistic disciplines, providing an outlet for creative projects. (launching 2025)

2024 - ongoing
- ‘Stale Gloves’ (working title.) is an ongoing project started by Danyal in 2024. Having spent many of his teenage years in amateur boxing clubs, the project is partly an exploration of the artist’s past. Starting with Islington ABC It serves as a survey of British amateur boxing clubs. Showcasing the brotherhood, tension and optimism that can be found but often overlooked. All from the perspective of someone once in their shoes.
2021 - ongoing
- For Rahati Romania is his home away from home. Having started his trips to the country in 2021 he quickly fell in love with its infastructure, people and culture. Amongst a few other projects, these images are part of a ongoing survey of the country.
